Classique Eau de Parfum Intense
A glamour lesson from ‘Classique’
Jean Paul Gaultier took the corset and turned it into a weapon of mass seduction. For women – it took their breath away It became an item of fine lingerie, worn confidently on the outside to flatter what was underneath. In 1993, he drew inspiration from the intimacy of the boudoir and its rice powder vapours to compose his first fragrance: an olfactory signature in perfect harmony with its stunningly curved bottle. A vaporous trail, a triumphant concentration of femininity. Now an icon of perfumery, ‘Classique’ by Jean Paul Gaultier has reinvented itself in an unprecedented variation, Eau de Parfum Intense.
A fragrance born to vamp.
Olfactory designer Francis Kurkdjian, carefully studied each accord of the legendary ‘Classique’ trail to compose the Intense version.
From the very first instant, the fragrance illuminates the skin with an explosion of tiare flowers nestled in an overdose of gourmand notes. Our mouths watering, we recognise tangy, juicy pomegranate. Then, the floral vapours take over. Orange blossom, indelibly associated with the original formula, envelops the skin in irresistible sensuality. Lastly, to enhance the vanilla’s intensity, the perfumer added fractionated patchouli to structure the composition from top to base.
Eau de Parfum Intense, a radiant oriental floral fragrance. Intensely Glamorous – Intensely Fatal.
To wear ‘Classique’ Intense is to make one’s mark, like stiletto heels striking the pavement.
