We are proud to announce that the Autobiography of Branko Roglic the owner of the Orbico Group, was presented last week in the Crystal Hall of the Westin Hotel in Zagreb.

The book was written by Mr. Branko Roglić for two years and on 516 pages he described details from his private life, and through it the entire history of Orbico, from its founding in 1987 in Switzerland to the present day.

The presentation of the book was really solemn and emotional. Among the many people who came to the event, one of the most prominent guests were the President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović, former Presidents Stjepan Mesić and Ivo Josipović, Academic Zvonko Kusić as an emissary of the Prime Minister Andrej Plenković,

Commander of the Croatian Navy, Rear Admiral Ivo Raffanelli, President of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and arts, Velimir Neidhardt, President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy Luka Burilović, President of the Management Board of Podravka and President of the Croatian Employers' Association Marin Pucar, many representatives of the diplomatic-consular corps, representatives of principals with whom Orbico does business and numerous employees of the Orbico Group.

The book was presented by its editor - writer and art historian, director of the Modern Gallery in Zagreb for almost two decades and President of Matica hrvatska for three terms, Igor Zidić; retired professor of the Zagreb Faculty of Economics Ivo Bićanić; Vice President of Business Europe and former President of the Croatian Employers' Association Gordana Deranja; President of the Management Board of the Center for Democracy and Law Miko Tripalo, historian Tvrtko Jakovina and former President of the Republic Stjepan Mesic. They emphasized the contribution and role of Mr. Roglić from the business and cultural aspect. A very moving speech was given by Mrs. Irena Novinec, Member of the Management Board of the Orbico Group.

The event was hosted by actor Tarik Filipović, excerpts from the book were read by the actor Vedran Mlikota while music was performed by singer Đani Stipaničev.

The book is available for sale in ‘Znanje’ webshop and bookstores. The Slovenian edition is planned to be promoted at the end of the year, followed by the English, Polish and Romanian editions.
